The Dead Are Not Gone
Shadow work often gets a bad reputation. People talk about it as if it’s only pain, isolation, and loss — like you’ll be alone, like it’s something to survive rather than embrace. But for me? Shadow work is freedom. It’s the fierce reclamation of your power, the clearing of inherited grief, the breaking of patterns that were never yours to carry. It is how we claim ourselves, fully, unafraid and unapologetic.
This month’s series, “The Dead Are Not Gone,” is about stepping into those ancestral currents. It’s about facing what has been silenced, witnessing the truth of your lineage, and honoring the parts of yourself and your bloodline that have been hidden or dismissed.
October is the perfect season for this work. The falling leaves, the longer nights, the quiet power of the earth turning inward — it all mirrors what we do when we dive into shadow: we turn inward, we reflect, we transform.
As the series unfolds, we’ll explore how to approach shadow work in ways that feel personal, empowering, and sacred. We’ll build curiosity and confidence for creating rituals that connect us to our ancestors and our own power, without needing anyone else’s permission or formula.
🕯️ This is shadow season. This is ancestral season. This is feminine power unmasked.
