Are You Watching? The Diddy Trial
So far, these are the key witnesses who’ve testified in the case involving Sean “Diddy” Combs:
Cassie Ventura — Singer and Former Partner
Cassie gave a four-day testimony recounting her 11-year relationship with Mr. Combs, alleging physical abuse, emotional manipulation, and sexual violence. She detailed being coerced into “freak-offs,” some lasting up to four days. She said she couldn’t leave because she was under complete control—financially, emotionally, and physically. She also stated that Mr. Combs raped her in 2018 after their breakup.
Kid Cudi — Rapper
Yes, the car bomb story is real. Cudi testified that his Porsche was firebombed in 2012, allegedly out of jealousy over his connection with Cassie. He described Diddy as “cold and threatening” in their last conversation.
Regina Ventura — Cassie’s Mother
This one caught me off guard. Cassie’s mom testified that Mr. Combs demanded $20,000 after finding out about Cassie and Kid Cudi. She claims she had to take out a home loan to pay him. Considering Forbes currently estimates Diddy’s net worth at $400 million, this alleged extortion reads as cruel, unneces
sary, and nefarious. She also said she documented bruises on Cassie’s body.
George Kaplan — Former Assistant
Kaplan testified that he quit working for Mr. Combs out of guilt. He claimed to witness screaming, bruises, and Cassie’s fear firsthand. He also alleged he was instructed to prep rooms with baby oil (of course), high heels, and cameras.
David James — Former Assistant
James testified that he was asked to carry bags full of condoms and MDMA. He recounted an incident where a heavily armed Mr. Combs was allegedly searching for Suge Knight. He also claimed that Diddy kept surveillance footage of his staff as blackmail material.
Dawn Richard — Singer and Former Associate
Richard confirmed that people around Diddy were aware of the abuse but chose silence. She said she personally witnessed Mr. Combs hit Cassie.
Kerry Morgan — Cassie’s Former Best Friend
Morgan described watching Mr. Combs drag and choke Cassie, and hiding in a ditch in Jamaica after one of his violent outbursts. She testified that she was also assaulted by him—and paid hush money to stay quiet.
Sharay Hayes — Male Escort
Hayes testified that Mr. Combs orchestrated every part of the “freak-offs” and confirmed that Cassie never seemed comfortable or consensual. His testimony supported the narrative of control, coercion, and domination.
Dr. Dawn Hughes — Forensic Psychologist
Dr. Hughes broke down the clinical side. She explained trauma bonding, coercion, and the reasons why abuse survivors often stay—especially when financial and emotional power are involved. She said Cassie’s story is consistent with patterns she’s seen in other abuse survivors.
Gerard Gannon — Homeland Security
Gannon described the 2024 raid on Diddy’s Miami home, where agents allegedly found disassembled AR-15 parts, a loaded firearm, drugs, burner phones, and (yet again) a drawer full of baby oil and high heels. According to his testimony, the environment was set up for secretive and illegal activity.
This isn’t the end—more witnesses are expected.
So now the questions are:
-
Will Mr. Combs take the stand?
-
Will the defense push a “consensual lifestyle” narrative?
-
And will the courts finally hold power accountable?
This trial is a cultural moment. It’s cracking open what unchecked fame, wealth, and ego can enable behind closed doors. It’s about control, silence, and the cost of being believed.
Stay tuned—I'll keep you posted.
