It has been more than 100 days since Breonna Taylor was murdered in her own home by police in Louisville, Kentucky. The would have been 27, on June 5th, EMT's name has been chanted by protested countrywide in a demand for justice yet none has come.

    So what exactly did happen? March 23rd, 3 officers enter Breonna Taylors' apartment on a no-knock warrant that resulted in Kenneth Walker, Breonna's boyfriend fire a single shot hitting one of the officers in the leg as he feared they were under attack. All 3 officers then responded by firing 20 shots inside Breonna Taylors' home hitting her a total of 8 times. If this wasn't enough, Kenneth Walker was arrested and charged with the attempted murder of a police officer and aggravated assault. Later, March 22nd Kentucky cleared Kenneth Walker of all charges. In an interview with Breonna's mother, revealing the time leading up to learning of her daughter's death giving even more details of how the police evaded informing her that her daughter had been shot and did not survive. 
    4 months after this tragedy Louisville Police Department fired officer Brett Hankison, while the other 2 officers remain on administrative assignment. The case is under independent investigation with Kentucky's Attorney General Daniel Cameron.
