The Shape Of Water (2017)

Receiving an Oscar for Best Picture of the year this year at the Academy Awards, Guillermo del Toro definitely deserved his Oscar for Best Director of the year. This film was an amazing American Romantic Fantasy Drama about Elisa Esposito played by Sally Hawkin and a human-like amphibian creature played by Doug Jones. Set in a top secret research facility in the 1960's Elisa a cleaning woman falls for this creature. In the movie there's a scene after the amphibian creature seems to have the ability to heal is shown holding the main character. The scene is so powerful and beautifully shot to show all the emotion between the main character and the amphibian creature. If you haven't seen it, it is a must watch.
