Jordan Peele's Get Out (2017)

Big Congratulations to Jordan Peele on winning his Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, making him the very first African American to win thie award. Get Out, a mystery/horror film released February 24, 2018 generated a cool 255 million in box office sales and cause plenty controversial buzz. The storyline one I definitely never expected to see in theaters much less win an Oscar at the Academy awards. Jordan Peele was also nominated for Best Picture and Best Director.
